It is probably from the Noten-Bchlein vor Anna Magdalena Bach ("Little Notebook for A.M.Bach") of 1725, which volume was actually the second such notebook that J.S. wrote for A.M. As you are no doubt aware, Anna Magdalena was Bach's second wife. The piece is titled "Aria: So oft ich meine Tobackspfeife."If anyone out there has a portrait of Bach with pipe, I would be very glad to put it on display on this site.
