Albert King, blues musician.
Albert King was born in Indianola, Mississippi on April 25, 1923, and raised on a nearby plantation as one of 13 children. King taught himself to play guitar on a homemade instrument, in traditional Blues style. King's style is hard to replicate, as he used a minor tuning which he kept secret, and played upside down and backwards since he was left handed. As heard in his music, King's leverage is on the thinnest srtrings, which he slackened. King played some of the most exquisite microtones ever played in the Blues, as his large fingers could easily bend his notes to an unprecedented degree. (now deceased)
