Several years ago, the Velani company went into some kind of selling frenzy and were selling pipes at big discounts. I don't know the story behind it, but I picked up 5 of their pipes for about $65. One I no longer have, it was a Canadian which was one of the first pipes I ever sold on eBay. The other four are all bents, and I still have them. At the time I was desperately in need of an expanded rotation and wanted something better than the Dr. G types I had been buying, and this sale was the answer to my pipe dreams. What shape is that anyway? I guess I'd call it a bent acorn. Anyway, this one is a big solid pipe with a deep bowl, and I use it for various latakia blends.
